Description of Opportunity
Peace4Kids provides programs and services for foster and at-risk youth, and is dedicated to empowering these youth by providing community as family.
Attend a training and introduction to Peace 4 Kids that allows you to “try on” the organization to see if it’s a mutual match. It’s a great way for you to hear more about Peace 4 Kids’ program, meet youth and other committed volunteers.
Note: This week’s event is a Peace 4 Kids New Volunteer Orientation. Come learn more about P4K if you are interested in becoming a regular volunteer – once you complete the Orientation and background check, you can volunteer every Saturday!
Peace 4 Kids is looking for volunteers to commit to at least 2 Saturdays per month. Volunteers have the opportunity to spend time with the children each Saturday in a community that focuses on creativity, the arts, and education. Come spend a few fun hours with some wonderful kids! Peace 4 Kids meets at Watts-Willowbrook Boys & Girls Club.
There are 10 spaces available.
