Description of Opportunity

HighWay Ministries is hosting a worship service and day of outreach to serve individuals on Skid Row in partnership with the Fred Jordan Mission. Volunteers are needed to help give out food, water, clothing, hygiene kits, and gifts. The worship and outreach will run from 10am – 3pm. Volunteers are welcome to stay the whole time or for a few hours. Please indicate when you’re able to come in the comments. 

HighWay Ministries is an organization that serves the South LA community where many people struggle with issues like poverty, substance abuse, homelessness, and more. The Fred Jordan Mission has worked on the streets of inner city Los Angeles and throughout the world since 1944 to help share God’s love by providing nourishing food, warm clothing, blankets and other vital services to people in need.
