Our HFLA partner The People Concern (formerly Santa Monica Homeless Shelter) provides supportive services to over 1,900 people living in Permanent Supportive Housing throughout Los Angeles County. Given the current recommendations from public health agencies, it is unsafe for many of them to go outside due to age or underlying health conditions. Additionally, we are seeing increased demand for our services and meals across our 24-hour and drop-in programs. The food security of our program participants is at stake.
